A little bit about us…
I started Kelly Auto Detailing for people who actually care about their vehicles. People who actually want their ride taken care of the right way.
Too many “details” today focus on speed, shortcuts, and surface-level results that look good for a few days, but then slowly fade. Over time, those shortcuts lead to dull finishes, damaged interiors, and owners who are left frustrated with results that never quite live up to their expectations.
From day one, my goal has been a little different. Instead of rushing through jobs to get as many done as possible, my focus is on taking the time to do things properly, using proven processes and professional-grade products, and treating every vehicle as if it were my own.
That mindset is what Kelly Auto Detailing is built on.
Why I started Kelly Auto Detailing
From the day I first opened the doors all the way up until now, I’ve noticed a common pattern: vehicles were being rushed through services that prioritized speed over care. Results that looked great the day of the detail, but a few days later, back to normal… if not, worse.
Most people don’t realize that this isn’t because their vehicle is “just getting old”. It’s because improper washing, cheap products, and rushed techniques slowly, but surely caused long-term damage over time.
So I saw an opportunity to do things a little differently: to actually take the time to educate customers, set clear expectations, and focus on work that actually cleans and protects a vehicle instead of just masking issues for a short while.
Where I came from…
To be completely transparent, I didn’t grow up a “car guy”. And I didn’t set out looking for a job in the automotive industry.
What I’ve always been drawn to, though, is detail-focused work. Work that doesn’t just look good from afar off, but up close.
Anyone who knows me, knows I am borderline OCD. And not by choice. I obsess over the smallest of details, because in my mind, a job isn’t done unless it’s done thoroughly.
That attention to detail eventually became the standard I hold myself and my work to.
So when I first discovered professional detailing, it was almost as if it clicked immediately. It was the perfect career that lined up exactly with who I was. Whereas in most cases, people entering the detailing industry have to learn how to be thorough, in my case, I didn’t have to because it came naturally to me.
Being in this business for a little over 2 years, my approach to each service I provide has been the same with anything I put my mind to: study the process, practice deliberately, invest in proper training, and never stop refining the details.
